Οι Farwest Mandolinistic Orchestra ( Fa.M.Or. ) είναι κουαρτέτο σύγχρονου μουσικού πειραματισμού. Συνδυάζουν παραδοσιακά, κλασσικά, ηλεκτρικά και ηλεκτρονικά όργανα ως πηγές, χρησιμοποιούν την τεχνική του live looping και κινούνται ανάμεσα στην προμελετημένη σύνθεση και τον αυτοσχεδιασμό. Οι διάφορες επιρροές και τα ηχοχρώματα λειτουργούν σαν ένα πείραμα με υγρά διαφορετικής πυκνότητας: όσο και να τα ανακατέψει κανείς τελικά δεν αναμειγνύονται και δημιουργούν σαφή στρώματα (layers). Έτσι μπορεί κανείς να διακρίνει την τζαζ και την παράδοση, το ροκ, την electronica και φυσικά τον θόρυβο (noise) σε ένα σύνολο, χωρίς το κάθε στοιχείο να χάνει το χαρακτήρα και τη χροιά του.
